What is a Ladder League?

Quick disclaimer about the league:
I need to clarify something about the ladder league. In this ladder league you don’t choose your own partner. You will be placed on a ladder rung with 4 or 5 players, depending on how many people sign up. You will play 2 games with each member of that rung. You keep points on an individual basis but you play all of your matches with a partner. Basically you mark down your score with each partner then I divide that number by the total points possible and that gives you a winning percentage which determines where you fall on the ladder. I hope that’s not too confusing. The last League was 8 games to 8 for a total of 64 points. 2 games with each person in your group.

League Details:
  • All skill levels in this league will be played on Tuesday nights from 6-9.
  • NEW RULE: ALL NO CALL NO SHOWS WILL BE REMOVED FROM LEAGUE.
  • 2 points will be awarded for every bye game
  • Yvonne Walker Hoard Tennis Courts (LU courts)
  • Weekly results and schedule will be posted on the club website and club Facebook page
  • Players are responsible for reviewing the weekly results and upcoming play times
  • Tuesday nights 6pm and 7:30pm
  • There will be limited spaces available in each division so sign up quickly
  • Registration deadline is 5pm April 4th
  • Six weeks of play starting on Tuesday April 6thth

  • You must be willing to commit to playing 4 of the 6 weeks in order to place and win a medals
  • Substitute player list will be assembled, subs will be selected and contacted by the league director
  • Players will be expected to bring their own paddle. Balls and nets will be provided
  • Medals will be given to top three finishers in each skill division
  • Regular player registration is $20 for club members and $30 for non-club members
  • Substitute registration is $5 for for club members and $10 for non-club members
  • Registration must be completed on the club website and payment can be done through Paypal or by mailing a check to the club PO Box 105241, Jefferson City, MO 65110

  • Players and subs must sign waiver before participating
  • The league will go on as scheduled unless and until state or local restrictions on play are instituted. In the case that the league must be ended due to restrictions, no refunds will be offered. We encourage everyone to use recommended public health practices like distancing and hand washing. Play at your own risk.
